ABOUT ME

A restless professional focused on all aspects of business operations, with a passion for technology, startups, international trade, agriculture, sustainability, nature, wildlife, and the future of food.


I was born in the US and moved to South America after high school, and have experience building business with companies from countries all over the world, such as Argentina, Ukraine, India, Brazil, Israel, Peru, China and Colombia.


The world will soon enough have 10 billion human inhabitants and we'll need to feed, protect, fulfill, and entertain them, all without destroying the planet and the species with which we share it. Being even remotely involved with any of these goals is my definition of success.


I've had the fortune of working in dozens of industries, from software and data science to consumer goods, transportation, compliance, farming, food production and telecommunications. I never pass up the opportunity to learn how the world works. I've built, managed, and collaborated with teams made up of individuals from all backgrounds and skill sets, most of which were smarter, more talented, and overall better people than me.


I'm plagued by an obsession with creating value, taking risks, adapting to new processes and environments, building systems, removing barriers, and sharing things with people. This has made me effective in transmitting value propositions, building relationships, and commercializing offerings in new markets.


In my spare time I like to study and practice technology-enriched horticulture, research and experience different cultures, languages and economies, travel, eat, hear and share stories, enjoy the outdoors, and coach soccer.
